Description

Sewer cap exploded from the water pressure and caused the surrounding pavement to sink/crack. In the New Haven Charter this service is covered by the tax payers. Its been over a month so I want to see this issues completed.

Please notify the engineering department - they are responsible for maintaining the storm drains. If this is sewer also tell them so they can contact the GNHWPCA, also call your Alderperson as Engineering looses alot of these complaints.

I think its a public works matter. They have signs up around the hole. Its been weeks since that storm. This should have been fixed. In any other neighborhood this matter would of been fixed.

So I would like to have an update on the issue. I have started to organized my neighbors and taking this matter to the Board of Alderman and then up the chain of command. The constituents in this area pays their tariffs and taxes.
