Who's cutting down all the trees at the old Red Cedar Course?!?!?!? I didn't think there was any development plan in place yet. Isn't removing mature trees that evaporate lots of water just going to make the water problems there that much worse?

On Facebook got response from some of the folks working with the Drain Commission. Sounds like some of this work is associated with the development and some of the trees are being cut down by the Drain Commission.
On the Drain Commission project they say the are going to replace every tree (mostly non-native) with three Michigan trees.
