This issue has been going on for years. The hedges that surround Portraits development are out of control. J&L Properties use their own people to cut this hedges. They are way over height and so uneven it is crazy. Now with the white fly, its even worse. We have people looking into our back yards on Johnson and NW 108th, peeping toms. Police have been called out. This needs to be addressed, its been put off long enough. I feel J&L caused this problem by not maintaining these hedges correctly over the past years, they are the ones that should take care of the problem and pay to fix it now. JL Properties spray for white fly, but they will not trim them down and even them out so they can get thicker.
Please we need help

Code Officer T Merrill did address this issue on 5/31/16 & created Code Case #84016, which he will be reinspecting. If the case remains in violation, it will go before the Magistrate & daily fines will begin to accrue along with a possible order to abate the violation(s) & then a lien will be placed against the property. J & L needs to do something with homeowners-there number is 1-954-753-7966 ext 115 . President of association in Portraits needs to be let go now. He does nothing for someone that lives on-sight. Someone needs to address this ASAP to Property Mgr of J & L. J & L needs to be contacted for not addressing these concerns to homeowners. Get homeowners involved.

Al, you are correct. Hedges have not been done, weeds are taking over the hedges. JL caused this problem they need to correct it at their cost. Portraits president has gone to every meeting and he knows about and dose nothing about it. Homes with trees in their back yard that face Johnson Street and 108th are not taking care of them.
I believe this is the second time click it has this issue

Nothing has been done. Tress and hedges are over growing down NW 108th and Johnson Street. Vines are growing up our street lights. Again JL properties and Portraits development homeowners association has done nothing.
I believe the homeowners have zero lot line anything past there zero lot line facing Northwest 108 and Johnson Street are their responsibility to maintain can you look into that because no one is doing anything about it.

It is now 8/17/2016 and still nothing is done. How long does it take. Vines are growing up street lights. Trees are over grown down NW 108th and Johnson Street. Home owners are not trimming their trees or hedges down NW 108th and Johnson Street . Then of course that brings on a problem. JL won't trim because they can not get into backyards. This is a on going battle and no one is winning. Just makes everything down those two street look like @#$%.
Something needs to be done and we are asking for help.
