Deskripsyon

The street light was knocked down over 2 weeks ago on the corner of Kennedy Rd and Buckland Way. This issue represents a hazard for cars and trucks traveling on Kennedy road as well as dangerous conditions for pedestrians and runners.

That streetlight and pole are owned and maintained by Eversource Energy. We will report the issue to them for you.

I just spoke to Eversource. They made the area electrically safe after the knockdown and have ordered a new pole. I was told it will be at least 30 days before the ordered materials come in and the work can be scheduled. I asked for a more precise schedule estimate and Eversource said they will get back to me soon. When I get that info I will pass it on here.

The latest information from Eversource is that the new pole and light fixture are to be installed on or near June 13. They claim part of the delay is difficulty in getting new fiberglass streetlight poles.

On 7/2/16 I noticed that Eversource had replaced this missing streetlight and pole.
