Still here, 9 hours after my post this morning. Even the adjacent legal parking spots have a 2 hour limit. At what point does a completely illegally parked car get towed?
We again investigated this location and found the vehicle to no longer be present. We enforce city ordinance, and I don't believe there is a short answer to your question that would encapsulate the intricacies of said ordinance. My intention is not to be evasive, but rather avoid being misinformative. The answer I am comfortable giving is that it is standard procedure for us to issue a citation to any vehicle found parked in a No Standing zone. It is not standard procedure for us to tow vehicles found in No Standing zones. Please re-open or re-post if this continues, or call us directly at (203)946-8076 so that we may dispatch an officer as soon as possible. Thank you for your help in this matter.
