Great to see the city is repaving Elm St. Since this is an opportunity to rethink pavement markings, please consider the following to slow down speeding vehicles and improve bike safety. The road is 46' wide and most of the lanes are 12' which is way too wide for a downtown area. 46' could instead accommodate from north to south, 8' parking, three 10' lanes, 2' bike lane buffer, and 6' bike lane.
