Description

Has not moved in over 6 months. Backed in driveway, can not tell if it has current license tabs.

This issue has not been taken care of. The vehicle still sits in the driveway backed in because it has not been moved. Now this is 120 days old and still nothing is done. It is my understanding that the police raided the duplex in body armor and weapons drawn. I don't know what the outcome was but I do know that even the people that live there are not around. I know that grandpa and grandma moved out before the raid as I used to talk with them. It would be nice to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

According to the City of Lansing ordinances you are allowed to have an unlicensed and uninsured vehicle on your property. You have to be able to prove that vehicle can run. I will follow-up with Code Compliance on this matter.

The vehicle has been moved and the tenants have vacated the duplex. I was always under the impression that a vehicle not only had to run but also be licensed and insured to be sitting on the property.
