Thank you for reporting! Public Works has an illegal dumping team whose sole job is to respond to illegal dumping reports throughout the City. On average this team removes 1,200 pounds of trash from public property every day. We strive to respond to all reports in a timely fashion. If you see someone dumping illegally please report the incident to the Vallejo Police Department.
Thanks for reporting! This issue is not under the jurisdiction of Vallejo Public Works, and should be addressed by Caltrans. We have forwarded your issue to them. You can follow up with them by calling 916-654-2852. In the future, you can submit a Maintenance Service Request to Caltrans district 4 on their website at http://www.dot.ca.gov/dist4/d4address.htm. Thanks again for using SeeClickFix!
Hi Vince. This trash dumping is not on Sonoma Blvd. but on private property at the dead end of the 500 block of Porter St. I'm afraid reporting it to Caltrans will only delay its cleanup. It might be better to contact the private property owner.
Thank you for reporting! A Code Enforcement Officer has now been assigned to inspect the possible violation(s). You may also visit eTRAKiT, our online tracking system, to view case information for the Code Violations online at http://web.ci.vallejo.ca.us/eTRAKiT3/ (please allow several business days for the information to upload). SeeClickFix is one of the many tools available to the citizens of Vallejo to report non-emergency issues. We “close” an issue in SeeClickFix once we've acknowledged the complaint; however, this issue is not "Closed" per se; it will remain an "Open" case with us until it is corrected. If there is anything else we can assist you with, please let us know. Thank you for using SeeClickFix!
