The problem is that the Sanitation Department did not empty several trash cans last week on Coronado Avenue. When they were informed about this, the supervisor was very arrogant and refused to admit that they had done this. This is in retaliation for being reported to the Mayor's office. It is not that they do not like their cozy city job too well, it is they do not care.

I live on riviera. I noticed they were VERY behind last week picking up the trash period. Took all day long. Whatever the problem is, slamming every can in the neighborhood seems like passive aggressive retaliation, possibly ordered by the supervisor then?

They usually do a great job though. When i turned into the neighborhood today and saw this (every can slammed, not at random), i knew something was not right. Theyre only breaking their own property.

I just drove through the Bailey Cove Estates area at noon and hundreds of trash cans have the top open or have been left turned over by the Sanitation Department. And they wonder why the residences of the City of Huntsville call them lazy and uncaring about their jobs.

I did the same before going back and taking this single picture.

Of course they wont answer their phone either. I left someome a nice message about how easy it must be to damage things bought with stolen money when you get paid with stolen money. I sure hope this arrogant supervisor calls me.

So. While i was videoing the neighborhood i ran into two sanitation workers in small trucks going around flipping lids. The excuse (likely on gopro audio) was they had to use the big truck today and it always does that. I was unable to find the truck to film that part.

Makes sense that no one answers if they're all out in CYA mode.

ALL of the trash cans on Annlau were open and some turned over. I saw them this morning, same truck as usual and the problem is that the truck was already moving to the next house before they set the trash can back down. These employees and supervisors forget who their employer is, the tax payers and residences of the City of Huntsville, but they treat us rudely and as I was told by a supervisor "none of your business what your neighbor has in front of his house" (I had said to him that my neighbors tree limbs were not picked up last week along with my trash). I will be passing all of the along to Dr. Robinson.

Oh yeah when the can is tilted sideways thats why. I have the video edited for upload up to and including the excuse given. I live in this neighborhood and also deliver newspapers here so i see the whole neighborhood on a regular basis.

I probably could tell where you live because i remember a huge pile of stuff laying around for awhile also.
