The crosswalk on Emerson and Fountain has no light. I have always wondered why anyone would even bother to build a crosswalk without a traffic light, or even a stop sign, for that matter. What's worse is that this intersection is right next to a school, and only a block away from Chapel Haven, a school for disabled adults. I cannot stress enough how dangerous it is for people who are mentally and, in some cases, physically disabled to have to cross this intersection. especially if they live on the other side of the road. Something has to be done about this. We need a light so that people can cross safely.
