City workers have cut reeds from the Salt Creek next to the soccer field and the skate-boarding area. This has revealed abandoned bicycles and other large discarded items. Sadly, they disposed of the reeds but left all the dumped trash in the creek. I was actually hoping the reeds would be cut the entire length of the creek to allow clean up of litter, and would have been happy to help with the clean-up, but was dismayed that the workers left the large items when they were there with trucks and boots. Will they be coming back to finish the job?
