Good Afternoon,

I located a form online for the GDOT for a Petition of Streetlight request, and while it requests for residents of that street/block to sign the form, there is no longer any residents who are on this part of McCormick St (from Haywood St. to Gate City Blvd), just businesses or construction related buildings, so I believe there really doesn't need to be the form since there aren't any residents. However with the new UNCG student recreation center being built, I decided to drive through that part of McCormick St. the other night to see if it would be considerably safe for students at night to walk over and parts of it (closer to Haywood St.) are very dark. I would like to request 2 LED lights (if it conforms with the city policy) to be installed on the two poles closer to Haywood St. and the current two Mercury Vapor based fixtures be replaced with LED fixtures as well to be uniform across that street and provide a brighter street at night.
