Confusion over lanes adds to congestion every day at this intersection, as well as danger to drivers and pedestrians. I learned in driver's ed to never change lanes in the middle of an intersection, but that's exactly what you have to do here. A left turn light and marked lane would make this far safer for everyone!

Good job on a left turn signal for west bound, but what about east bound? You still have to merge to one lane on the other side of the intersection traveling east if you happen to be in that left lane. Just make it a left turn only lane and give it an arrow!

I had at least 3 near misses in last two years merging on this crossing while driving East. I support concept : left lane marked only for left turn , right lane - straight and right. As it is now it's very confusing.

The intersection at Olive and Grand has very promising surveyor markings like the intersection will be improved soon. So what about Olive and Chapel? This spot, as pointed out in this clicket, is still quite dangerous for cars and pedestrians!

Intersection improved with turn lane and arrow for westbound traffic, but I believe eastbound traffic still merges from two to one lanes directly across the intersection on Chapel instead of there being a left turn lane and a single lane going straight that requires no merging. Therefore the issue hasn't been resolved but I'm tired of getting notifications about it, so I'm closing the ticket.

This still seems like a dangerous intersection to me. It would be easy to apply a better fix.
