One of these trailers was previously used by the Essex subdivision at Edwards Mill and Glen Eden. It has indeed been unoccupied for quite a while and looks to be crumbling.

I don't know any details (I'm looking forward to hearing what the city finds out), but recently the property had an auction sign up and a few weeks ago it appeared like someone had removed the shrubs and skirting around the trailers. I assumed this was to move them, but that's only speculation.

The building issues have been referred to our Construction Division and the Housing / Environmental inspectors have initiated a public nuisance case.

Our building inspector has been unable to contact the property owner. He is obtaining contact information from the County tax records and will begin a nonresidential building code enforcement case as soon as he gets the research information.
