Earlier this year, two construction companies put up advertising signs on 1049 Coney Island Ave. The companies don't operate from here and this is pure advertising. These are not accessory signs. Recently, a third construction company placed an advertising sign on the back of the neighboring building at 1047 Coney Island Ave. From everything I recall, advertising signs are not allowed in this zoning, and worse, no permits were filed. DOB Sign Enforcement is needed.
