Ridiculuous. It would require southbound cars to stop within 40 feet after clearing the stoplight, and cause backup across Pa. Ave. Why not make 8th and Pa. a four-way stop too?

Are you confusing this post with the wrong address? It is meant to be 8th and d NE which is along way from PA

Stop signs along 8th ST SE, if restricting the flow of north and southbound traffic near the Pennsylvania Ave. intersection, will cause serious delays and back-ups of vehicles -- particularly during daily rush hours. If emplaced in that manner, stop signs would cause more traffic problems than it would solve.

Correct address for the stop sign request is 8th and D street NE. Northeast. Not SE.
