This lot is getting worse, not better. It is continually used as a dumping ground for broken strollers, couches, mattresses, trash, tires, everything! Please help remedy this eyesore and environmental hazard.

Community Board 14 has filed new complaints about the lot condition with the Department of Health (rodent conditions,) the Department of Sanitation's Lot Cleaning Unit & the Department of Building (zoning complaint for car/trash storage.) We will post any updates here. Thank you.

Update: The Department of Sanitation has issued a letter to the property owner with instructions to clean up the lot. A compliance inspection will be performed on July 11th. If the lot has not been cleaned by this date, the Dept. of Sanitation will clean the lot and bill the owner for the cost of the clean up.

There has been no clean up activity at this lot like previously noted for July 11. The situation deteriorates every day. When can we expect to have the Dept. of Sanitation arrive? And what happens when the property owner ignores all bills and notices sent to him?

A compliance inspection was performed on July 11th as scheduled. The Department of Sanitation will now schedule a lot clean up at the location. We have requested information regarding the scheduling of this clean up and will post this information as soon as it is received. Thank you.

DSNY has informed CB14 that this lot is scheduled for cleaning during the week of August 22-26. We are waiting for additional details but have been informed that trash and derelict vehicles will be removed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

We are following up to find out if DSNY's lot cleaning unit has been working on the clean-up at this location. Please advise of the status of this job. Thank you.

Still waiting on clean up of this lot. In the meantime there's new dumping everyday, including large items like 2 grocery carts and car parts. Drug paraphanalia and used condoms strewn about. Please address this health hazard asap!!

After 661 days this issue is still unresolved and worse than ever before. Now there is a refrigerator, a shopping cart, a bicycle, a basketball goal, four chairs from a van, a large cooler and countless trash in and around the lot. It doesn't seem that Community Board 14 is doing anything at all to address this disgusting, dangerous issue in our neighborhood.

Community Board 14 filed new complaints with the Department of Sanitation and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. The complications arise from the fact that this is a privately owned lot and the owner has not granted the City the permission to access the lot for cleaning. We will continue to advocate for City Agencies to gain access in order to resolve the problem conditions.

Miracle of all miracles, the lot was CLEANED! After 10 years! Thank you CB 14 for filing complaints.
