This is the responsibility of NCDOT. The City has passed on your request to the local NCDOT office, as we have in the past. All issues related to I-440 or other state-maintained roads should be reported to NCDOT, not the City. You can call the local NCDOT office directly at 919-733-3213.

It's good that we were finally told who to contact, but why did it take 5 months for someone to supply the sixty seconds of needed information?

Also, I know from another, similar experience that what works best is to contact the correct NC DOT division via ncdot.gov (as opposed to calling the general phone number for NC DOT). I'm assuming that this would be NC DOT Division 5, but can you confirm that?

NCDOT has reported that it is NOT their responsibility since the vegetation is on Six Forks Rd AT the intersection of the I440 ramp. They say their responsibility ends at the end of the ramp.

Someone at COR needs to talk to someone at NCDOT and come up with a plan as to who is responsible... because you're both pushing it on to the other.
