I have been in contact with my district manager, Sgt. Joyner about the loitering and he is aware of the problem and is helping us try to get a resolution.

There is also drug dealers living on the first floor right hand side. Window screens missing at the bottom for quick dealing!

The drug dealing is coming from the second floor tenants, not the first and they now have people who do not live at this address who regularly come and hang out on the porch late at night and into the early hours of the morning smoking weed and drinking with the daughter of the second floor tenant. Numerous noise complaints have been filed on them and the police are very familiar with this address as a problem location. These tenants are on section 8 and I have contacted LCI, the housing code enforcement department and met with the property manager of this location who has chosen to completely ignore all phone calls and texts about the problems here and I am now at my wit's end about what to do next since nothing has been done. Since they are on section 8, the activities of these tenants are in clear violation of their lease and section 8 policy (if there is one) and I need to know who I can contact about these violations (drug dealing, trash, loitering, removed lock from front door which now stays open all night for easy access for drug dealing, fighting) and how their section 8 can be stopped. Since the property manager and slumlord owner only responds to money, maybe once the gravy train is stopped they will FINALLY get these tenants out of here because they are disturbing the entire neighborhood! If I cannot get any help from the anyone, I am seriously considering contacting channel 8, the New Haven Register and whatever other organization that will be willing to listen and actually HELP!!!!
