Description
Our neighborhood has a significant number of young children, from toddlers to teens, and many of the residents, including myself, are concerned with how open the storm drain covers are. I've measured the two drains (picture uploaded) immediately in front of my residence to have a opening height of 6.75in and a width of 63in, both with a very steep incline of the street towards the entrance of the drain. This makes it very easy for a child that's playing nearby to slip and fall in.
Please send out a Storm Drainage Crew to evaluate the drains to determine if safer covers could be installed. Your immediate attention to this issue is appreciated very much.

Hi Jason,
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, you left a digit out of your phone number so I was not able to contact you by phone.
This past January, someone had submitted a similar issue stating that they're drain had a "sloped opening of 6 inches" (http://en.seeclickfix.com/issues/1443350-dangerous-storm-drain?s=nearby). This appears to be smaller than the opening that I've measured, yet when Public Works went out to inspect it they verified that it was, in fact, out of spec. I'm not sure if where I took my measurement is the same as that individual, so would it still be possible to have a Stormwater Drainage Crew come out to verify that it is in spec?
Thanks for your time and help!!
