We have the same problem on Lawrence Street, particularly between Orange Street and Whitney Avenue, since the traffic calming measures were installed on the Orange-Whitney block of Edwards Street. To avoid the Edwards Street traffic light at Orange Street and the speed humps/table, drivers opt to use Bishop and Lawrence Streets to travel at high speeds between State Street and Whitney Avenue. Perhaps both these streets should be addressed?
