Description

The current signage that the left lane is for a left turn only is insufficient. Drivers in the left lane often continue straight thru the intersection instead of making a left turn. With parking on Bladensburg Rd on the right, there is always a lane shift that must be coordinated so drivers must each shift a lane to the left. If left lane drivers continue straight thru the intersection problems ensue. An official lane shift is needed to prevent accidents and improve traffic flow.
