please install a yield sign for the traffic coming on to 2818. I've seen several people almost get hit because the ramp traffic just merges right in.▶W archiwum

Thank you for the information. FM 2818 is a TXDOT roadway and its maintained by TXDOT and not the city. I will forward this concern to the city's traffic engineer that works with TXDOT on roadway issues, projects and concerns. I will post his response here after he speaks with TXDOT.
From TxDOT: " At this location, this is considered an entrance ramp and TxDOT does not place signs at the ends of entrance ramps where motorists are entering a highway. The entrance ramp from FM 2154 has an acceleration lane along FM 2818 as well."
I am a runner and have almost been hit at this intersection (by someone turning onto 2818 from both north and southbound traffic on more than one occasion. I would like to see more lighting and a crosswalk (on the 2818 side) of this intersection.
From the Assistant Traffic Engineer: "TxDOT has looked at the conditions.
Because the lane downstream of the free right is an acceleration lane, the Texas MUTCD prohibits the use of a THRU TRAFFIC MERGE LEFT sign. Additionally, at this intersection, they would not use a yield sign prior to the crosswalk."
