Sharraxaadda

Sidewalk on Kaulana St. (at Hina Ave. intersection) was obstructed by abandoned vehicle for over 12 months. Approximately a 100 foot section of sidewalk on the Kaulana St. side, (in front of blue colored concrete wall of the Maui Evangelical Church/Preschool) is completely covered with sand and grass. Sidewalk no longer visible due to ground cover. Elderly pedestrians trip over sand and grass or they end up walking on public roadway during the evenings because sidewalk is not visible. Overgrowth of sand and grass covering sidewalk should to be removed to restore accessibility for elderly pedestrians. Existing conditions present tripping hazard to all pedestrians.
