3/15/2013 - Still not repaired. Hey, John Hamelin, I now know that it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY for the roads. You were the one who came out to look at this issue years ago when it first began. Well, it's about 7 years later now and still nothing has been done. DO SOMETHING besides a shovel full of cold patch!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a broken storm drain pipe that has caused the road to sink and the storm drain hardly drains at all. After years of it being this way, the area was finally marked out by Call Before You Dig early this spring. I think this job has been forgotten about. The Water Dept has previously tried to unclog the pipe by using the "torpedo", but it got stuck and they had to cut the hose, so it's still under the road. Years ago, it was recommended that this single drain should be replaced with a double because it only takes 1 year for it to fill up with sand and other debris. and the next nearest drain is uphill at the intersection of Valley View. Can we please get this issue resolved? It only took a week for the sinkhole on Lydale Place to be repaired.
