Description

Again & again & again, cars are illegally parked in the morning in the right hand lane of Trumbull Street. Signs say no parking between 7 - 9 am, but obviously nobody reads them! There were 3 cars parked this morning, narrowing traffic heading into downtown into one lane, which backs up cars all the way onto the highway off ramp. Help please!

Your map arrow is incorrect. I think you mean west of Orange Street. There is no restrictions for parking at that time east of Orange Street. If anyone is going to enforce it, they need to know exactly where it is.

The best way to bring attention to parking related issues, is to post them within the Parking Violation/Abandoned Auto category, rather than in the Traffic Safety category. This will ensure that your concerns will be viewed and addressed in a timely fashion, by the staff who monitor parking related issues. This particular issue will be re-categorized. This issue has been addressed. We now do a few passes through, so it is less likely for a car that parks between 7 AM - 9 AM not to be ticketed and or towed. if an issue such as this should arise please open as a new issue.
