Description

There is a drainage easement located between Ney and Golf Links and behind the homes on lower El Monte Avenue. The easement is full of old vegetation, including very large dead trees and debris. I am concerned about a fire hazard currently and it acting as a dam instead of allowing the area to drain as intended if and when El Nino arrives this winter. Recently, an entire tree was cut down and left to add additional blockage in the easement. Please look into this before it gets any worse and before property damage occurs. I have inquired to the city previously and can't seem to determine who is responsible for clean up and enforcement.
