How is this NOT a code violation? I doubt that the grass grew this tall within the days after the code officer said it wasn't in violation.

You are saying the waterway has been fixed. I just walked past this on Saturday and the yard is still saturated and water leaking. I wouldn't call that fixed. And now you can call anything in your yard you do t want to maintain a "flower bed?" That is crazy! 'This makes the neighborhood look horrible. The same thing when people throw gravel on half of there yard so residents can park in the yard- this is not ok!

Yes, it's true. The leak was repaired, and then reopened and leaks water at a faster rate down the sidewalk. It needs another look, as kids and their parents are slipping in it when trying to get to the school
