Description

The downhill storm drain at Santa Ray & Viona is collapsed. It looks like a heavy vehicle crushed it. Bad new if we get our hoped-for El Niño.

This drain has not been repaired. If anything was done, it appears that the larger pieces of concrete have been smashed up and shoveled back into the downhill side of the drain. This is a steep hill. With the first gully-washer, this concrete is just going down the gutter to get stuck in the downhill storm drain.

The drain is actually at Santa Ray and Balfour. Here's a picture of the state of the drain on Sunday morning October 25, and a picture of the street signs at the intersection.
