Ideally this spray pad would be upgraded to include additional water elements similar to the ones at Lincoln Park.

S. The drainage for the spray pad needs to be reconfigured. The water pools between the concrete spray pad and the playground equipment. This is a drowning hazard as well as a prime mosquito breeding area. pad

Having used several spray pads this year, the difference between this one and Lincoln Park or Westland Hills was very surprising. An overall upgrade as stated would be most welcome.

By the spray pad being in an open area, and the road behind it, we cannot control the wind that blows the water into that area. We are continuing to look for a solution to this problem, thank you for bringing it to our attention and we apologize for the delay in response time.

Is an upgrade of this spray pad planned to make it more inline with some of the newer ones in the city (ex. Lincoln Park, Westland Hills)? Even if it wasn't perfect (due to the wind) drainage could at least be improved during a renovation.
