Street previously inspected and candidate street to receive paving. We will continue to monitor for maintenance.

Again, Florence Avenue continues to be an ignored area of the Cove. No resolve or follow-up has been made related to missing or broken curbs and continuing crumbling sidewalks. I suppose when someone really gets hurt just by walking maybe then there will be some improvements made. You drive through other areas of New Haven where there is evidence of new streets, curbs and sidewalks, but residents don't take care of their personal homes. It's horrendous that we live in an absolutely beautiful area of New Haven, pay exorbitant taxes, and we get ignored. I have been told the Mayor prioritizes which areas get serviced first related to street paving and sidewalk repairs. Mayor please try to take a walk down our broken sidewalks, rather than putting the focus on the Airport expansion.
