This signal is horrendous! At least 3-5 times a month I end up stuck on Edwards waiting to turn at Prospect for 10-20 minutes. It would be great if this light functioned properly on a regular basis.

This issue has been raised repeatedly. See 708542, 1457192, 1210446, 708542, 737800, 1104755, 1111857, 1274707, 1158277. In response, each time the city checks the signal and verifies that it is operated the way that the city wants it to. This suggests that the problem is not a malfunction, but rather poor decision making by the city.

The Signal Division would like to take action on this particular traffic signal; however, the traffic signal is currently owned by ECI. An electrical contractor under contract by ConnDOT for state project #92-564. The division has notified the State DOTnumerous times about the issue. If you would like, please contact a Mr. Clive Martin (ConnDOTchief inspector) at Clive.Martin@ct.gov for action on this issue. Thank you for your understanding.
