I agree that the memorial to Javion be removed from 10th St. after the 1st anniversary of his death passing next week. The one on 9th with the saran wrap should also be removed as it is killing the tree. The simple memorial on 8th is fine.

if you lived with one in front of your house it would not be so OK!!!!!! one year is why to long. so if tree is unwraped the people whos house its in front of has no say.. teddy bears dont bloom like flowers. one year and kids mom lives two doors away. if they dont care how it looks where does that leave us. as a homeowner and TAX payer i try to make valve of my house go up do you think they help or hurt. if you say they hurt my chance to sell they must go. if they put one in front of my house something bad would happen when i cleaned it up. should i be put in that spot???? no more gangster row

I don't think you can pick and choose which memorials can stay and which should leave. My humble opinion: an ordinance that all street memorials can remain for one month only. After that, the memorial must be removed. Who removes it? Haven't worked that out. The City? The victim's family? The owner of the property that the memorial is in front of? I agree that something should be done about this.

After a month, people could show their respect at the cemetery if they so wish.

the city made a new law and said it was do to seeing something drawn on a wall is bad for homeowner and lowers house pricing there.yet still nothing about seeing all the bottles and open flame around grave sites. sorry cant call them that no BODY there.please pass a law and really clean up. also are they UNDER ware or outer ware. is that indecent charge or not? the grave sites are still up . no changes made by those in power.

this is still ongoing city has doon nothing to put time limits or placement site for these grave markers.
