Beautiful brownstone buildings block uglified by absent landlords and uncaring tenants. These trash bins stay out in the sidewalk every week, and overflowing garbage is disposed at the curb constantly (note the red drum). Obviously, the picture does not capture the flies and smell, ugh! I have reported this personally to the Dpt. of Public Works. They offered to send an inspector, which apparently did not make a difference.
