What (and when?) is the replanting plan for Goffe Street?

I agree, that stretch of road looks despicable.

What is the plan?

Is there a re-planting plan for Goffe Street? There shouid be; the ward deserves it.

Would very much like to hear the remediation plan for all the trees that have been removed along Goffe Street.

Exactly right ! New Haven will look like the Bronx with all the tree cutting. Take a drive through Westport, Madison, Greenwich. Tree lined streets with older established heavy canopied branches everywhere. This city is a mess

The school is coming along. What about the re-planting that's necessary, particularly along Goffe Street,but also in many places in Ward 28?

As mentioned before--the school is coming to a finish. Is this whole broad frontage going to be landscaped *with trees* at all? It's arid, bare, and hot now. When East Rock School was re-constructed, the added trees made it far more green and shady--as asset to the entire neighborhood. What is the plan for the Mayo School and for this ward (28), which has lost a disproportionate number of street trees?

Thank you. Still very much hoping to hear that there is a tree-planting *plan.* A great number of trees were removed and the trees of Ward 28 in general are not replaced when taken out. Little shrubs along the new school driveway just aren't going to do what a canopy would do in terms of aesthetics, carbon dioxide remediation, and/or shaded streets.
