Descrição
There is a lot of debris on Mt. Hope from 496/127 to Mt. Hope Cemetery, particularly in the bike lanes. Additionally, many of the drains are clogged with leaves and branches causing flooding and standing water on the roads after a rain.
Debris is mostly caused by the road breaking up, mostly on the eastbound lane.
It is a hazard for bikers.

I know that Lansing is cash-strapped. Eastbound motor lane is devolving into a gravel road. What would have been a minor repair a couple of years ago will now require rebuilding (see history of this issue on this site). If this is a ploy to get state or federal money instead of using local tax dollars, then the price is being paid by the cyclists and motorists.
Is Lansing broke, uncaring, or incompetent?
