This is a serious problem all over town affecting both quality of life and property values along with adding to the negative image that has been created by the media.

DPW will be asked to clean the area again. There is not much that can be done to prevent littering. The town has erected No Littering signs.

I wholeheartedly agree with the last guest's comments. This is a serious issue that affects quality of life, home values, and health. Why are our elected and appointed town officials talking about spending tens of millions of taxpayers' dollars on new projects yet choose not to do anything about something as basic, fundamental, and necessary as controlling the amount of litter and trash that pollutes our neighborhoods?

I agree with the guest commentator. This is a major community-wide issue, and there is plenty that can be done....it just requires some thought. Why do some of our elected and appointed town officials seem so ready and willing to spend tens of millions of new tax dollars on new projects without first correcting some very basic, bothersome, and systemic community-wide issues that affect our neighborhoods, property values, and quality of life? I think we should get back to the basics before we start spending millions of new tax dollars on other things. Sure, a community center would be nice, but not if we have to wade through litter and trash in order to get to it. Thank you.

Littering is basically becoming an epidemic in town. On Christopher Road, the cigarette boxes, dunkin donuts coolata cups, energy drink cans, "nip" bottles and beer bottles , constantly litter the street head adjacent to Chestnut Street.

It would be great to see signage, that promise fines and tickets for those caught.

There's revenue for the town to be had if this is more than passively enforced.

It is impossible to monitor every area in town to catch the litterbugs. We appreciate your assistance (and persistence) in helping to keep Randolph clean.
