The street is getting worse. The potholes are causing damage to my car's axles. Would the city like to be responsible for the astronomical costs of repairs? Please have someone drive down Gerrard, both sides of the street, from Yonge to Jarvis. "nuff said.

There has been no progress on this issue. In fact, it is getting much worse. I have bent rims on 2 vehicles now that are going to cost hundreds of dollars to repair. The condition of Gerrard Street beginning all the way from Bay to Sherbourne is disgraceful, it looks like a Third-World country. It is shameful. Someone needs to address this issue ASAP.

The damage actually extends on Gerrard Street from University all the way to past Parliament. It is one of the worst blocks I have ever seen. One of the rims on my Cadillac was bent and had to be replaced for $900 as a result of hitting one of the potholes. The street is a DISGRACE for us as Torontonians and I resent having to drive on a third-world road with all the taxes I pay to this city and province every year.

The below is a message I received this morning regarding a near invisible asphalt ramp along Gerrard Street near Broadview Avenue. I am told that Gerrard Street East is slated to complete extensive road work by the end of 2017. You may want to inquire about more details from 311 - like when will they start?

Getting worse with age. Level of damage and unevenness of street, as well as major depth of potholes is causing severe damage to tires and wheels and axles.

This continues to worsen. There are new VERY DEEP potholes. In addition, as a result of some sidewalk repairs on the corners of Gerrard and Mutual (both sides), the street was dug up and the tar that was replace to fill them in is uneven, causing more bumps. I've never seen such sloppy, shoddy, incomplete inept work in any city I've ever been in around the world, and I've been in many.

Getting worse. Recently the city (?) did repairs to a few parts of the street between Jarvis and Church, they dug up very uneven patches, then instead of repaving the street as they could have, they DUMPED tar in the hole they dug up and never even smoothed it out. So now the road is even worse.

It has been this way for a long time, nothing to do with the Ice storm and extreme cold.

However the extreme cold and ice storm of late have made things exponentially worse.

Im not sure why this road has not been repaved in the last few years...its not like there are major hospitals, ambulance dispatch on gerrard...

Worse after winter storms.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ADDRESS THIS SITUATION ASAP. Gerrard between University and Parliament is horrendous and dangerous!!! Why do we pay such high taxes??
