The comment from Mr. Kilpatrick makes sense now, but it still seems to be an issue. Last week there were cars that were stuck in the intersection at Capitol and KZoo when the light changed, and cars from Capitol were trying to merge into a single lane (unsuccessfully) to get around it to continue south on Capitol. Seems very unsafe.

I understand your frustration but if people new how to drive you would not have this problem. People are not taught simple rules of the road these days. If you can not pass through an intersection you do not pull into it to start with. You do not pull into a lane inside a semi that is turning. You do not drive in a lane that is ending an expect everyone else to yield to you when you get stuck in it. You do not drive straight through turn only lanes. You do not speed up to make it through the light when it turns yellow and your 10 car lengths away from the intersection. These are just a few of my favorite things.
Oh ya, Only using your turn signal in turn only lanes doesn't help anyone.

Closing. Haven't noticed this as a problem lately.
