Description

Many vehicles can be seen speeding on Rosewood Avenue and there is a growing concern for vehicle and pedestrian safety, especially children. STOP signs and WATCH FOR CHILDREN signs are needed for traffic calming measures and to alert vehicles that there are children walking and/or playing in the area.

Alderwoman Barbara Constantinople has received several complaints from her constituents regarding speeding traffic on Rosewood Avenue. She is requesting STOP signs and WATCH FOR CHILDREN signs be installed in this area to deter speeding traffic and increase pedestrian safety. I agree,, I live on Rosewood,, when you back out of your driveway there are no cars by the time you are in the street, they are on top of you,, its scary sometimes,, someone is going to get hit,, and at night you can hear them speeding down like its a race track,, some one is going to get hit or in an accident.
