(posted on behalf of Assistant Chief Luke Williams, SPPD) Thank you for your submission to the City of St. Petersburg's SeeClickFix website on July 28, 2015. Chief Holloway has asked me to respond directly to you regarding the issue of an abandoned vehicle at 720 6th Street North. On July 30, 2015, Officer C. Parker responded to this address in regards to your complaint and observed the vehicle you've described still parked in the same fashion. Officer Parker examined the vehicle and determined it to have not moved since the vehicle was tagged as abandoned on July 24, 2015 by Officer T. Hubbell. Since the 72 hour notice was issued and expired, Officer Parker impounded the vehicle per our city's ordinance governing illegally parked and/or abandoned vehicles on public streets.
