I saw someone driving northbound on the southbound side ( the wrong side of the street) last week coming from this rotary. It is is not clear where to go or who should be yielding. There is going to be a serious accident there!

My understanding is state legislative officials and Malden's Mayor's office are pursuing plans for a traffic study to help analyze ways to improve this area - signage, roadwork etc.. It's a common place for accidents. Very high number of documented serious accidents involving state police or other authorities. However, many others are likely not reflected in recorded statistics. If people exchange papers without assistance of public safety officials. I saw one of those within the past week.

There was a serious accident last night around 7 pm with injuries at this rotary. I hope they don't wait too long for the study. Do we have to have someone die first?

Someone already did die a few years ago as they came out of Glenwood onto Highland. This is one of the worst intersections in the city

Stop Sign is too far from intersection forcing cars to stop then roll forward in order to see beyond hedges for oncoming traffic on other side. Possibly the worst-placed traffic sign I've ever seen. Whoever installed this deserves a Darwin Award.

Please contact the ward councilor (John Matheson) in regards to the placement of the stop sign. Any modifications to sign placements and the addition of new signage must be voted on by the Malden Traffic Commission. Councilor Matheson can bring this issue to the commission for consideration. In regards to the intersection itself, the Fellsway is under the jurisdiction of the state. I believe Councilor Matheson is currently attempting to address this issue via a joint task force involving the City of Malden and the State.
