I appreciate your sentiments and understand your frustration. I think that a great majority of what we do on SCF is helpful for people so we will forge ahead. It is troubling to see some of the commentary that is not neighborly, but that is unfortunately part of the community.

I remain focused on the fact that Burlington is a great place and those few impolite or overzealous comments are not representative of the community as a whole.

I echo your sentiment. So remember when I was a child growing up in Burlington. Kids my age knew our boundaries, called older folk Mr. or Mrs. so and so. We knew the neighbors, who to talk to, who to steer clear of. Even the neighborhood's biggest gossip also had he worlds biggest heart if families were having trouble. Humph! They call this moving forward? I'd think not.
