The city has let this park go. THe parking lot is full of potholes. Your affair to drive your on to it. The city cut down all the nice bushes. There is a car that has been there for 3 days now.

This response is from City of Rio Rancho administration.
In reference to this park, the city’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department regularly mows, spays for weed control, etc. Mowing was recently done and spraying is scheduled for next week.
The health of the Pine Trees at this park, as well as throughout the city, is an issue the city is seeking consultation on.
More than two years ago, bushes that were catching blowing debris and that had died were removed.
Cars parking on the trail have been an ongoing issue which has been and will continue to be reported to the Police Department. The issue of an abandoned car at the park has been reported to the Police Department to look into.
Your information regarding potholes in the parking lot has been provided to the Public Works Department.
