07/01/2015 A large tree has fallen across the Manayunk Canal Path. A volunteer has cleared many of the branches, but bicyclists either have to lift their bikes over the trunk or ride around off the path on the river side.
The fallen tree is located between Flat Rock Dam and Shawmont.

07/08/2015 The fallen tree is still there as of this morning. As the attached picture shows, many of the branches have been cut off and the area cleared. That work was done by a volunteer from the bicycle community.

07/18/2015 Looks like a do-it-yourselfer got tired of waiting for the city to fix this. After all, it's only been almost three weeks since this was reported to SeeClickFix and to Philly 311. I wonder how long it will take Parks and Rec to come out and finish the job.

Apparently Parks and Rec finally came out and finished the job. But they left the cut up trunk still there. Philly 311 = ZERO.
