I live on James and drive this stretch every day. It has been patched numerous times and is still THE worst piece of road I've seen in the city. Patching is not sufficient, it needs to be completely repaved. Multiple members of the neighborhood have repeatedly reported this and each time the city has closed the issue without actually repairing the damage. It's bad enough that State Street has been closed for years with no hope of reopening, this repaving is absolutely necessary and it's really a disgrace that it hasn't been addressed properly sooner, with local residents literally begging for it to be fixed.

Potholes have gotten worse. Does anyone monitor this system?

It looks like the city responded to a separate request saying they’ll be announcing their spring paving schedule shortly, though no promise that this section will be on it. This is the worst stretch of road in the city.

They say that every year. It never gets repaired. Ive been documenting on this site for 3 years about this much needed repair project...
