Deskripsyon

I put my lawn trash (sticks less than 5 feet) on the edge of my lawn instead of in the gutter as directed by Huntsville Utilities. When it is scooped up on collection day, a large area of my lawn is damaged by the lift. This has happened several times and I am growing tired of repairing my lawn. Can this be fixed or should I start piling lawn waste in the gutter so it will get washed down the hill?

Sand was put down and grass is growing up through it. Any questions on the pickup requirements need to be sent to The City of Huntsville Sanitation Department at 256-883-3964. Thanks, PWS

Re-opened issue due to a repeat occurrence of the same issue only on a larger scale. Also, putting sand down would be an OK fix if this was a one time damage, but does no good if my lawn is damaged every time I put yard waste at the street.
