Agreed. I often ride my bike from Fair Haven to downtown and back - all the roads are either laden with potholes, uneven pavement, or broken glass. I ride looking down for potholes rather than paying attention to the traffic and buses zooming around me. It's unsafe and I worry every time I ride through Fair Haven that I will fall into traffic after hitting a pothole or uneven pavement.
(And not to mention the garbage truck slime leaking from the trucks on garbage day, the neighborhood stinks, the road is soiled, and we have to ride our bikes or walk through it.)
