90% of the traffic on Merseles Street turns right when it crosses Grand Street. Why then is the right lane forward and right turn at the light? More properly the left lane should be forward and left turn, as both those functions require a green light. If the right hand lane were ONLY right turn this could be done at all times,right turn on red light. this is especially important as the ajacent Turnpike on ramp is under construction. ALSO, the pavement on Merseles is so bad that a small car could be swallowed whole.
