The house next door has a pool that has not been maintained in over 3 years. Now that the water is drained out, there are several dead animals in the bottom of the pool. With it being so hot the past few weeks, they are now starting to rot and the stench is absolutely disgusting. I can't open my windows because the smell permeates my house. No one is living there at the moment, the renters moved out about 5 months ago. The landlord comes and goes to work on the house but has not yet addressed this issue. Also, the grass in the backyard is knee high. It's huge eye sore. Please help!

06012015 - I recieved a call from the owner who asked for an extention for 2 weeks, he said he is working on cleaning up the back yard, but he has to pay someone to remove the pool for him. I told him I would give him until the 14th, and he gave me permission to have the interns treat the pool in the mean time with larvicide. RE later. /// CM
06302015 - I observed the pool not holding water, even despite the constant rain. No PHNs at this time. Close case. /// CM
